Join us as a Data Engineer in Chief Data and Analytics Office – we’re looking for a driven and analytical Data Engineer to work within our Reporting and Insights team. In this role, you’ll support key reporting streams across the Customer Domain (Marketing, Complaints and Customer related reporting). You’ll be instrumental in delivering accurate, insightful and timely data through a blend of data engineering and data visualisation.
This is a hands-on role involving both data-to-day maintenance and forward-looking development work on the cloud. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including Product Owners, to build solutions that meet business needs and support data-driven decision making.
To be successful as a Data Engineer, you should have experience with:
Essential Skills
- Strong background in Data Analysis
- Proficiency in SQL development and optimisation
- Experience with BI tools (ideally Tableau) and Data Visualisation
Desirable Skills
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- working knowledge of Python
- Awareness of cloud technology and environments

This role will be based in Knutsford or Northampton
