Explore locationAs a Senior Data Privacy Manager at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our data privacy practices are not only aligned with regulatory requirements but also reflect industry best practices, safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of our data assets.
To be successful as a Senior Data Privacy Manager, you should have experience with:
Extensive experience in data privacy management, ideally within a global financial services or highly regulated industry.
Deep understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA and others.
Ability to design and implement data governance and privacy frameworks across large organisations.
Great leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be located at our Glasgow or Knutsford office.
Purpose of the role
To develop and implement data privacy policies, procedures and monitoring the adherence to these policies across the organisation.
