You'll be part of a modern, product-focused engineering team responsible for building and running the software that underpins all of our core infrastructure services. Bringing your full stack development experience and passion for quality engineering, you'll help us strengthen our software engineering and DevOps practices as we continue to evolve our platform capabilities.

To be successful as a Full Stack Engineer, you should have experience with:
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python or Java for backend development, and strong UI development skills using React, JavaScript, or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Database design and management (PostgreSQL, SQL, or Oracle), containerization technologies (OpenShift and Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools, particularly GitLab
• Software architecture, design patterns, clean coding practices, microservices, and API development
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Advanced knowledge in test-driven development, behavior-oriented design, and Agile methodologies
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders across all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and resilient full stack solutions with cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
