Explore locationBarclays is seeking an experienced Software Engineer, UI to join our Customer Care team. This role is within Collections and Recoveries domain, creating user-friendly experiences for our clients. This role involves leading UI development, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to full-stack solutions using modern technologies.
To be successful as a Software Engineer, UI, you should have experience with:
Experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Previous experience in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React or Angular).
Demonstrable experience in UI development and leading a development team.Familiarity with cloud-based development and DevOps practices.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in financial services or banking domain is highly desirable.Solid experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.Knowledge of TypeScript for modern web development.

This is a hybrid role and will be located at our Knutsford office.
