Technical - Service Designer - Security

Join us as a Technical Service Designer - Security to support the design and implementation of secure services, systems, and processes as well as to ensure they meet security requirements, are user-friendly and efficient.

To be successful as a Technology Risk & Control Manager, you should have the following skills/experience:

• Experienced with leading agile Scrum/Kanban frameworks to deliver complex multi-phased security solutions’
• Technical background/ability to understand various architecture solutions (e.g. Cloud or SaaS on-premise).
• Be customer and relationship focused (process driven, metric focused, results oriented, organized, and self-directed person).
• Ability to work across and manage a large number of stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and implement new processes and operate in areas of ambiguity.
  

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Previous experience/ track record of working in Financial Services Industry.
• ITIL Certification and ITIL Service Transition certification.
• DevOps and ServiceNow experience.
• Self-starter, capable of working independently.
• Experience in the use of the Microsoft M365 & Office toolset.

This role will be based in Knutsford.

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitive information.  

Accountabilities

• Provision of subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.
• Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.
• Execution of audits to monitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the banks infrastructure/software and support the response to potential security breaches.
• Identification of advancements in to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
• Collaboration across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Development/ Implementation and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
