Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as an Advisory and Wealth Planning Journey Lead. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the Product & Commercial Chief Operating Office (COO) Teams achieve their goals and objectives to deliver the Advisory Strategy for Private Bank. You will act as a conduit into Operations and Technology and coordinate activity across all impacted pillars and functions. Focus will be Advisory & Wealth Planning to ensure the strategy can be delivered alongside the banks policies, standards and external regulation. While also working directly with senior COO leadership, Tribes, and product leaders to ensure all deliverables support the objectives and to help ensure a clear path towards achieving them. You should have an ownership mindset and strong critical thinking acumen, with the ability to work closely with business and technology leaders to deliver a plan that maximises global impact and progress.
To be successful as a Advisory and Wealth Planning Journey Lead you should have:
Experience or familiarity with Advisory & Wealth Planning.
Demonstrated success in supporting the delivery of complex technology or product related initiatives.
Ability to balance commercial, client and regulatory needs and requirements of a multi-geographic organisation.
Ability to manage complex programmes of work, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across programmes and re-prioritising as required amidst changing landscapes.
Some other highly valued skills/experience include:
Experience of working in the Private Banking industry.
Knowledge of agile processes with a view on how to maximise success.
Knowledge of Barclays applications used by Wealth and Private Bank businesses and shared Group applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Online and Teams.

This role can be based out of either London or Glasgow. 
Purpose of the role
To take responsibility for end-to-end local Platform management including – strategy design & execution, scalable and stable platform for client & colleagues, regulatory risk mitigation & management, platform development.
