Join us as a Business Manager - Colleague Communications in Private Bank UK, where you will play a key role in directly supporting the Head of the Private Bank Wealth Management and Crown Dependency business. You will focus on shaping and delivering impactful internal and external communications that reflect the strategic priorities and voice of the Business Head. The successful candidate will support the Business Head with internal communications, including leadership emails, newsletters, and announcements. Draft and refine messaging for external engagements, including media interviews, press releases, and public statements. The role holder will plan, write, and edit content for a variety of platforms such as internal sites, social media, and external publications. They will need to ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and branding across all communications.
This fast-paced role demands excellent communication skills, resilience, and the ability to support senior leadership with strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment, engaging with colleagues, and driving impactful business outcomes. They will need to collaborate with internal teams, including HR, Marketing, and Compliance, to align messaging and ensure timely delivery. They will help shape the narrative around key business decisions and transformation efforts.

Accountabilities
- Collaboration with business and senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Liaison between different business units and functions, fostering communication and collaboration.
- Management and coordination of strategic initiatives, projects, and change management efforts to optimize business processes and strengthen the control environment.
- Improvement of operational efficiency within the organisation including the identification of areas for improvement, streamlining of processes, and implementation of best practices to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Development of performance reporting for key metrics that reinforce the strategic objectives of the division and support the external commitments made. Involvement in aspects of financial analysis and budget management, including assistance in financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring of financial performance against targets.
- Support to business heads in partnership with HR on hiring, workforce planning, joiner/mover/leaver actions.
