Explore locationAs a Capital Markets Execution AVP, you’ll play a key role in the end-to-end execution of funding and regulatory capital transactions. Working in a market-facing environment, you’ll interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including investment banks, investors, regulators, lawyers, and senior Treasury colleagues. You’ll support the development and execution of funding strategies, helping to optimise funding costs and strengthen the Group’s capital structure through effective transaction delivery, governance, and market engagement.
You’ll be responsible for critical execution activities, including trade booking, P&L modelling, and transaction analysis, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and control throughout the deal lifecycle. Combining strong analytical skills with commercial awareness, you’ll contribute to trade design and execution, providing insight to support strategic decision-making.

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
Purpose of the role
To optimise the bank's capital structure to support its growth objectives, manage risk exposure, and comply with regulatory requirements by analysis of bank's capital position, development of capital allocation strategies, and ensuring that the bank maintains adequate capital levels under various economic scenarios.
