To be successful as an Engineering Manager, you should have:
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams, driving performance, accountability, collaboration, and successful delivery outcomes.
Strong technical background with the ability to contribute to design and architecture discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, influence engineering decisions, and provide technical leadership without being hands-on in development.
Experience managing end-to-end engineering delivery, ensuring programmes are delivered efficiently through effective planning, prioritisation, governance, and execution.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Ability to build strong relationships across business and technology teams, providing clear status reporting, delivery updates, and executive-level presentations.
Understanding of modern engineering approaches, including cloud technologies, DevOps practices, automation, and software delivery excellence.
Experience driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, and innovation to enhance engineering effectiveness and delivery performance.

This role will be based in London.
