We're looking for an experienced data professional with a passion for creating scalable, high-quality data models that support critical business, regulatory and analytical capabilities.
To be successful as an Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP) Data Modeler, you should have experience with:
Expert conceptual, logical and physical data modelling with experience implementing at enterprise scale.
Solid experience with metadata management toolsets, such as ER Studio, Erwin or equivalent.
Solid understanding of Finance Data Classes, including awareness of key data concepts across financial asset classes.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of financial services data governance and regulatory frameworks, such as BCBS 239.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
Familiarity with data lineage, data quality and master data management (MDM) practices.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in London, Canary Wharf.
Purpose of the role
To design, implement, and maintain conceptual, Logical and Physical data models that meet business data/process and technology requirements, by using designs and data strategies across a wide selection of platforms.
