To be successful as an Investment Banking Executive Recruiter the ideal candidate must have:
Executive recruitment experience within a major global or bulge-bracket bank.
Investment Banking recruitment expertise.
Experience working with executive search firms and retained search models.
Exposure to international and EMEA hiring activity.
Advanced Excel capabilities for day-to-day data management, reporting, and analytics, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate, data-driven presentations, talent market intelligence, and recruitment performance insights for senior stakeholders.
Strong financial and compensation data analysis skills.
Experience partnering closely with HR Business Partners, Compensation and Senior Leadership teams.
Other highly desirable skills will include:
• Candidates from executive search or specialist recruitment firms with relevant financial services experience.
• Background in Executive Search preferred with an understanding of direct recruitment within Investment Banking.
• Actively seeks to understand and manage client expectations
• Understands how to push back on unreasonable expectations whilst maintaining a “can do” attitude
This role is based in London with 3 days in office, subject to business requirements.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
Purpose of the role
To source, attract and hire executive level talent across the organisation.
Accountabilities
Build and maintain an executive talent pipeline to anticipate hiring needs.
Provide hiring recommendations and assist in the negotiation of job offers.
Manage key stakeholders, including people leaders, HR colleagues, and executive search firms.
Monitor and report key recruitment metrics like time-to-fill, cost per hire, and source of hire.
Identify areas for improvement and optimization in the recruitment process.
Conduct full lifecycle recruitment including:
o Client briefing and understanding the role.
o Initial research to build a longlist of candidates.
o Manage interviews and feedback loops between search firms, clients, interview panels, and candidates.
o Ensure a best-in-class client and candidate experience.
