To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
Good proficiency in Golang, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, with the ability to develop modern, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
Experience in writing efficient, maintainable, and testable code, alongside object-oriented design, microservices, and API development to deliver resilient and well-architected platforms.
Confirmed ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams to solve multi-layered engineering tasks, conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices including CI/CD
Experience with relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, with exposure to NoSQL technologies
Knowledge of banking and financial services technology and regulatory environments
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The location of your role is Knutsford/Glasgow.
