Join our Global Transaction Banking team, where the FX Product team oversees FX Payments, FX Spots, FX Forwards, and FX Swaps for Barclays Corporate clients worldwide.

We are seeking an FX Product Manager to focus on FX Payments and our international strategy. In this role, you'll assist in designing, building, and managing products that drive sustainable returns while helping clients grow their businesses. We are looking for innovative, client-focused professionals with an understanding of FX products, market trends, and the ability to help manage product risks and profitability while building strong stakeholder relationships. You will support to manage the product lifecycle end-to-end, from P&L and risk management to regulatory compliance, ensuring robust processes and client-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help to define and execute the FX Payments strategy, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Combine client insights with financial and operational expertise to deliver profitable solutions.
  • Foster collaboration across Barclays to deliver innovative FX solutions.
  • Maintain ownership of the client journey and ensure operational excellence.
  • Support regulatory adherence and product reviews.
  • Drive product changes and decisions to meet client needs effectively.

This role can be based in London or Radbroke.

Purpose of the role

To develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service. 

Accountabilities

  • Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
  • Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
  • Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage.  
  • Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
  • Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.

  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
