Global Markets Client Strategy - Macro Rates 
London

As a Barclays Global Markets Client Strategy – Macro Rates, you will be part of a dedicated team within Markets Business Management, supporting Macro Rates Distribution, the sales organisation within Markets. As part of Client Strategy, you will work collaboratively with Distribution to define which clients to service, with which products in what regions. You will also be tasked with identifying revenue opportunities, devising a strategy to seize them, and implementing processes to monitor progress and track action to completion.

What will you be doing?
•    Acting as partner to Macro Rates management, providing strategic advice to Distribution including strategy, structure, processes, talent and platform
•    Collaborating with Macro Rates Management to set priorities and objectives for the business, cascade these down to Distribution Heads
•    Devising client strategy by partnering with Global and Regional Distribution Heads to identify, prioritise and monetise revenue opportunities
•    Implementing Macro Rates client strategy by spearheading the design & implementation of processes to monitor progress on client strategy and related client initiatives
•    Liaising and collaborating with sales managers across products and regions to track actions to completion
•    Devising the Technology priorities for Distribution and Clients with Global and Regional Distribution Heads and acting as the point of contact with Technology
•    Coordinating with Business Management and liaising with infrastructure to remediate Sales and Client issues, continuously improving the platform, and Client experience
•    Owning client intelligence and analytics and driving performance and creating and ensuring the integrity of related data and reporting

What we’re looking for:
•    Experience in a Global Markets Division and Investment Bank 
•    Experience in Corporate Strategy or Client Strategy at banks
•    Advanced ability to use PowerPoint and MS Excel
•    Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) 

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Knowledge and understanding of Macro Rates and/or Management Consulting from a top firm
•    Project management experience and ability to coordinate inputs and opinions from different sources
•    Possess the confidence and maturity to regularly interact with Senior Management
•    Deep analytical mind proficient in financial/strategic analysis and comfortable multi-tasking while working under tight deadlines
