We are seeking a highly creative and social-first Group Social Content Creator (AVP) to join Group Creative Services, Barclays’ in-house creative studio. Reporting to the Head of Group Creative Services and working in close partnership with the Group Social team, you will play a key role in bringing the Barclays brand to life through engaging, platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for a content creator who combines strong shooting, editing and photography skills with a deep understanding of social media trends, audience behaviours and digital storytelling. Working across Barclays’ highest-profile sponsorships, campaigns and brand initiatives, you will create compelling content designed specifically for social audiences, taking projects from concept through to delivery while balancing creativity, pace and quality. As part of a growing in-house creative studio, you will help shape Barclays’ social content capability by developing audience-led content, advising on social-first creative approaches, collaborating with stakeholders across the business, and championing innovative storytelling that drives engagement and strengthens the Barclays brand.

To be successful as a Group Social Content Creator, you must have the following experience:

  • Proven track record creating engaging, high-performing social content, with a portfolio showcasing social-first creative thinking, storytelling and content production across multiple platforms
  • Advanced video production and editing expertise, including filming, photography and end-to-end content creation using professional camera equipment, mobile devices and Adobe Creative Cloud tools, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, with the ability to translate platform trends, audience behaviours and best practices into impactful, channel-specific content
  • Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience delivering high-quality creative work at pace while balancing multiple priorities within complex or regulated environments

This role is located within our Barclays HQ Canary Wharf, London office .

This role requires flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, to support live events, content capture opportunities and social media priorities.

To create engaging and impactful graphics and video content.

Accountabilities

  • Design of graphics to be used in a range of digital and physical channels.
  • Management of filming and postproduction edit processes.
