Explore locationJoin us as a Head of Brand and Communications planning at Barclays UK, where you'll be leading and shaping the brand planning and broader marketing communications planning for Barclays UK, working with teams across Barclays UK and the broader Barclays group. You will be responsible for leading the strategic communications planning process, translating the brand and business priorities into a fully integrated communications plan, and ensuring all our communications are insight-led and building a clear and compelling narrative for our audiences.
To be successful as a Head of Brand & Communications Planning, you should have experience with:
Experience working with large‑scale brands and planning complex, high‑visibility brand activities
Expertise in communications planning, spanning brand-building through to performance marketing and customer communications, with solid understanding of how to integrate them effectively.
Excellent stakeholder management, including proven experience influencing and working with senior leaders
Great use of data and insights, leveraging customer data and behavioural insights to shape strategic plans and decision-making
Deep experience in comms planning and creative development, with the ability to challenge thinking and push creative and strategic boundaries
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in financial services, with an understanding of industry context, customer needs, and regulatory considerations
People leadership and performance management experience, demonstrating the ability to develop talent, guide teams, and drive high performance
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in either Glasgow, Northampton or London.
