Some essential skills you will need to be successful in the role as a Head of Strategic Insights are:
Strategic thinking – ability to align insights with organisational goals and business objectives and ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic recommendations.
Data analysis and interpretation – deriving meaningful insights and translating in to clear, understandable reports.
Business acumen – strong understanding of the industry, competitive landscape and key business drivers.
Communication and story-telling – excellent written and verbale communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders, including Exec level leadership.
Cross-functional collaboration – strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and influence other departments and functions.

Advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
Experience with customer and market research.
