Join us at Barclays as a Liquid Finance Transition Manager, where you will be responsible for onboarding clients across multiple platforms and markets that we currently offer trading and investment opportunities for. As an AVP you will manage relationships of various internal stakeholders ranging from Sales, Tax, Legal, Credit, KYC, and Operations. Additionally, on-boarding serves as the primary point of contact for clients, handling the day-to-day dialogue and action. As the Transition Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of all new clients onto the Barclays platform across Equity Financing, Fixed Income Repo and Prime Brokerage, Futures Execution and Clearing, OTC Clearing and FXPB.
Some key accountabilities will include:
- Product Analysis: working with clients to translate their operational and trading needs onto the Barclays Prime Brokerage platform across products and entities. Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Pricing and Product to deliver seamless solutions to our client base.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivating client relationships and facilitating the onboarding process end to end through regular communication on on-boarding requirements (such as KYC, Regulatory, Operations), and being central point of contact throughout the on-boarding process, including educating clients on platform capabilities and Barclays infrastructure.
- Project Management: internal coordination across key stakeholder groups to align prioritization, manage expectations and meet client go live dates.
To be successful as a Liquid Finance Transition Manager, you should:
- Demonstrate experience in a client facing financial services industry - a prior role in Transition Management, Prime Client Services or other Prime Services Client Facing roles is essential.
- Have a working understanding of the Hedge Fund and Asset Manager landscape, with focus on clearing, settlement and financing across products and strategies.
- Have a working knowledge of products including Cash Equities, Bonds, Repo, Equity Synthetics, Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Clearing and FXPB.
- Be detail oriented, with the ability to work in a resourceful manner but in a team environment with the ability to build internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrate willingness to improve processes and enhance end to end workflow.

Liquid Finance Platform covers a variety of roles and is central to the delivery of best-in-class products and services, and for the provision of strategic client and risk solutions across the full spectrum of the Prime Financing businesses.
Accountabilities
- Working with clients to optimise the Liquid Financing relationship
- Provide best-in-class service and escalation oversight
- Primary contact for Liquid Financing clients in areas such as trading, risk, billing and reporting
- Provide expertise on industry and regulatory initiatives
- Subject matter expert for our clients, with a deep understanding of each client’s business mix, operational requirements and product sensitivities
