The ideal candidate will be highly organised, professional, and capable of working under pressure to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of executive schedules, communications, and priorities. Being an adaptable individual capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and ensuring seamless coordination for executives and teams will be highly beneficial in this role.
Success in the role will be measured by the following:
Proven experience as a personal assistant or executive assistant, ideally within a corporate or fast-paced environment.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, ensuring smooth communication and a professional presence on behalf of the executive team.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively, particularly in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure, balancing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Key understanding of the Barclays processes within BUK would also be beneficial in this role.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The role can be based in either Canary Wharf or Northampton.

To provide administrative and organisational support to executives, managers, or teams. To manage schedules, acting as a trusted point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination, efficient task management, and a professional presence for their assigned individuals or teams.
