Regulatory Reporting Transformation Lead

Join at Barclays as a Regulatory Reporting Transformation Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team working on driving the end-to-end transformation of regulatory reporting processes, with a core focus on the review and interpretation of applicable laws, rules, and regulations across multiple jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region. You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of data controls and testing to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory reports.

To be successful for the role, candidates should possess the following skills or experience:

• Knowledge of financial services laws, rules, and regulations.

• Expertise in regulatory reporting, data controls, and testing methodologies.

• Ability to interpret and operationalize complex regulatory change.

• Advanced cross-functional collaboration, especially with Technology and Compliance.

• Analytical and communication skills, with a focus on regulatory engagement and audit readiness.

This role will be based out of our London, Canary Wharf office.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
