Explore locationJoin us at Barclays Corporate Banking as a Relationship Manager working within the Mid-Corporate team based in our Hemel Hempstead office. You will be working as part of a dynamic team of 9 bankers covering the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire regions. At Barclays Corporate Banking, we give clients the big picture. We look beyond numbers, revealing ideas and opportunities, and work with our clients to help them achieve their business ambitions.
In this role, you will effectively manage, develop and grow a portfolio of approximately 50 customers, each with a turnover of £6.5m and above or having debt requirements in excess of £1m. You will proactively maximise all opportunities within your local market, to attract and gain new customers to the Bank. Business development is a key focus of this role and the goal is to secure 1 or more new to bank customers in each financial year.

Solid experience of relationship portfolio management for small and medium enterprise (SME) corporate clients
Experience lending to corporate clients and ability to manage the end-to-end lending process for applications up to £10,000,000
Energy, commitment and relationship skills to drive business development and acquire new customers
Ability to identify client needs and suggest ideas and solutions to deliver income and balance sheet growth
