As a trusted advisor, you’ll guide clients toward their financial objectives by providing tailored wealth planning advice, personalized investment solutions, credit strategies, and day-to-day banking services. By understanding each client’s unique circumstances and goals, you’ll offer bespoke advice and strategies to help them make informed financial decisions and secure their future.
In this role, you’ll engage with a diverse range of clients, using a holistic approach to wealth management and leveraging Barclays' broad range of financial products and services to create customized solutions. You’ll manage client portfolios, stay up to date with market trends, and collaborate with specialists in tax, retirement, and estate planning to ensure comprehensive advice.

By nurturing these relationships, you’ll become a key partner in their financial success, making a meaningful impact in their lives. To be successful as a Wealth Manager, you should have experience with:
- Relationship management, especially managing and handling the sophisticated needs of individuals and families,
- All candidates must be RDR level 4 qualified, having passed exams enabling them to provide financial advice in the UK against FCA activities 2, 3 or 4 (including securities),
- Broad experience of the Financial Services industry, in the areas of Retail regulated products/services to mass market and high net worth customers, and asset management.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Financial planning,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
