Join us as an "Analyst- Securitised Products" at Barclays. Team supports securitized products desks, primarily securitized products financing in risk management and decision making by analysing and creating research reports on risk & performance of assets financed and improve overall efficiency.  Team works with stakeholders in London and US, and create periodic surveillance reports, provides forecast about trading books, provides analytics on collateral and works on automation using Python/VBA.

To be successful as an "Analyst- Securitised Products", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

* Prepare Exposure and risk reports.

* Review Lona Pricing, compare with third party data, provide insight.

* Review and monitor RWA (Risk Weighted Assets), Prepare PnL (Profit & Loss) Reports.

* Automate using python/VBA, develop on demand code to extract data out of data repository and build reporting tools with focus on automation of data loans and reporting.

* Maintain highest quality of data, implement data quality checks.

* Coordinate data associated with due diligence and tie data back to loan origination guidelines and pricing matrix..

* Work closely with desk.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

* The candidate would have to interact with business managers, desks, and clients.

* The candidate will have to be proactive in identifying issues and getting them resolved by liaising with various stakeholders.

* The candidate should have great eye for detail and should ensure that he/she meets the zero-error tolerance requirement as most output forms a critical input for business decision making.

* Proactively provide inputs and suggestions to improve processes.

* Able to multi-task and prioritise accordingly in a highly pressurised environment.

* The candidate needs to work on several time sensitive activities and hence is required to be meticulous and efficient.

* Relevant experience in residential mortgage data/due diligence/collateral analyst experience at capital markets. origination, rating agency or mortgage servicing firm. Must have knowledge of Securitization, Loan originations, life cycle of Securitized Products

This role will be based out of Mumbai.

Purpose of the role

To maintain the smooth and efficient operation of our trading desks, providing operational support and expertise to traders, sales professionals, and other key stakeholders, helping them maximize their productivity and minimize disruptions and handling administrative tasks, and providing market information and research. 

Accountabilities

  • Provision of immediate and efficient technical support to traders and sales professionals on the trading desks, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted trading activities.
  • Coordination of trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Maintenance and updating of trade records, transaction logs, and client databases accurately.
  • Reports, presentations, and documentation preparation to support sales and trading activities.
  • Monitoring of market data and assist in the analysis of financial information for trading decisions.
  • Operational tasks such as processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies.
