Explore locationJoin us as a " Analyst – Securitized Products Business Management " at Barclays, Securitized Products trading team makes markets for clients in all Agency and Non-Agency RMBS, CLO Secondary, Asset-Backed Securities, and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, the current role is in Securitized Products Business Management team for producing business critical MIS reports, Business Strategy presentations, Business Performance reviews, Revenue Forecasting Models, Budgeting Models and performing ad-hoc customized analysis.
To be successful as a Analyst – Securitized Products Business Management this candidate would be supporting the Global Securitized Products Business. The business management team is responsible for controlling various aspects of business like the revenues, risk weighted assets, headcount, ROE, etc. This team conducts various business review meetings with the respective sub-business heads to review their performance and provide strategic guidance.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as experience with Global Markets, as well as job-specific skillsets.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
The candidate must possess proficiency in production of Microsoft PowerPoint presentation decks and be a master in art of visual story-telling using graphical data representation.
Good understanding of Securitized Products and financial instruments (MBS, ABS, agency/non-agency mortgages, whole loans, warehouse lending, Sec Products financing solutions).
Excellent PowerPoint and Advanced Excel knowledge along with clear demonstration of these skills in previous work experience
Good knowledge of BI tools like Qlikview, Business Objects, Flightdeck etc.
Confident in dealing with groups outside of immediate team (Sales, Trading, etc.).
The successful candidate will have proven experience of:
Executing against tight deadlines.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Good Stakeholder communication skills.
Evidence of successful collaboration in a global, geographically dispersed environment.
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
More than 1-2 years’ relevant work experience in consulting firm on business strategy or investment banking division of a bank focused on preparing sales/client presentation.
Prior experience in data analytics, data visualisation, VBA or python programming is desirable.
the candidate is also expected to have a strong understanding of the risk and control metrics.
Preferably a management degree.
Good understanding of Technology and Project Management
Confident in dealing with groups outside of immediate team. (Sales, Trading, etc.)
This role will be based out of NKP Mumbai.
