Operations analyst

Join us as Operations analyst At Barclays. The role holder as part of the Investment management team, will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand investment reporting requirements. Responsibilities often include gathering investment data, generating customised reports and presenting insights to clients. Additionally responsible for maintaining accurate fund accounts ,reconciling discrepancies and implementing improvement to reporting processes

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field. Professional certification such as CFA, CA, or MBA in Finance.

• Proficiency in investment accounting, financial assets reporting and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyse financial data to prepare various customise reports as per client requirements.

• High level of accuracy and attentions to detail, ensuring precise and error free reporting.

• Proven ability to identify and solve complex problems related to investment accounting and reporting.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience accounting and reporting of various investment product available in the financial services industry like Equity , Debt, Manage Account, AIF, Mutual funds , Held away assets reporting etc.

• Experience working in Fund accounting and Bespoke reporting .

• Familiarity with financial software and tools as well as advanced excel skill.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines and  manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• The right candidate will have an excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
  This role is based in Mumbai.

Purpose of the role

To support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

• Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
• Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
• Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
