Join Barclays as a Head of Physical Security EMEA Agile Operations, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. In this role, you’ll manage and oversee CEMEA operations for Physical Security. You will focus on incident and security risk management, as well as vendor oversight. You will also be responsible for managing project finances allocated to physical security, playing a pivotal role in agile operations across the region.
To be successful as a Head of Physical Security EMEA Agile Operations, you will need the following:
- Proven experience managing physical security operations within a corporate environment. This includes overseeing security policies, procedures, and ensuring their effective implementation.
- Strong understanding of physical security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV), including their implementation and deployment on a global scale.
- Proven experience in Security Risk Assessments, business stakeholder engagement, controls, and risk background. with the ability to identify, evaluate, and manage potential threats.
- Proven experience managing third-party vendors, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with company standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
- Experience managing budgets, including cost allocation, budget control, and financial planning.
- Proficiency in handling security incidents and crisis situations, including developing response plans and leading teams during emergencies.

Purpose of the role
To develop risk management strategies that support the protection of the bank's regional sites against a range of variables.
Accountabilities
- Management of specialist security services to support the bank’s regions through site level security oversight activities including the execution of security risk assessments and the alignment of security objectives, contractor management to review the effectiveness of existing physical controls.
- Implementation of security policies to ensure the effectiveness of existing security operations and controls such as the bank's systems, applications and networks.
- Development and implementation of risk management strategies to identify and mitigate physical security risks, including access, fire and natural disasters, and implement security controls and provide training to colleagues to mitigate those risk.
- Development of crisis management and contingency plans for the bank's facilities, evaluated through simulations, to demonstrate how colleagues should coordinate with stakeholders during a crisis.
- Management of stakeholder relationship including colleagues, vendors and regulatory agencies to algin security operations with the bank's objectives.
