Explore locationJoin Barclays as an Electronic FX Sales VP. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. You will deliver the full suite of BARX electronic FX trading capabilities to clients by understanding their trading workflows and aligning platform features accordingly. You will work in close partnership with global FX Sales, Trading, and Technology teams to optimize electronic penetration and drive revenue growth across client accounts in Latin America. You will have ample analytical abilities to interpret trading data and make strategic decisions on pricing, liquidity distribution, and platform usage. You’ll also contribute to shaping the FX electronic trading strategy, working with vendor platforms, proprietary tools, and cross-asset teams to enhance client outcomes. Success in this role demands a combination of product knowledge, and technical experience.
To be successful as an Electronic FX Sales VP, you should have:
Deep knowledge of FX products (spot, forwards, swaps, options, EM, algorithms) with proficiency in electronic FX market structure and trading platforms
Technology change management with Barclay’s new enhanced BARX system
Experience with FIX Protocol integration and connectivity
Multilingual communication (Spanish required, Portuguese a plus)
Familiarity with client onboarding processes and trading system workflows
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Series 7 and Series 63 preferred
Data evaluation capabilities using trading metrics and performance data
Strategic thinking and ability to align product features with client needs
Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and departments
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our New York, NY office.
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
This role is regulated by FCA and FINRA.
Minimum Salary: $155,000
Maximum Salary: $250,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
