In this role, you will support the legal and regulatory needs of the equity derivatives and capital markets business. The team advises on transactions that often involve interpreting multi-faceted securities laws. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple product lines, gaining exposure to a wide range of equity derivatives and related transactions. This role involves close collaboration with business teams and clients. Prior experience in a bank, hedge fund, or law firm with a focus on securities or corporate law is helpful.
To be successful as an Equity Derivatives Lawyer, you should have:
Experience reviewing and negotiating master agreements
Understanding of securities and corporate law, especially in capital markets contexts
Ability to interpret and apply trading guidelines and regulatory frameworks
Comfort working with economic provisions in transactional documents

This role is located in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $180,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
Purpose of the role
To ensure that the activities of the business units in the Markets division are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and to help the bank manage legal risk associated with these activities.
