Barclays is seeking an Execution Associate, Equity Capital Markets/Equity -Linked AVP to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at the heart of Barclays’ capital markets operations. In this role, you will support the Equity Capital Markets team with a broad range of operational and client-facing responsibilities that are vital to the business. You will handle daily tasks, including client onboarding, KYC refresh updates, and transaction life cycle management. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple business divisions. You will coordinate to ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of trading issues. You will serve as a liaison during client approval stages. You’ll assist with documentation, regulatory checks, and onboarding progress tracking.  Beyond operations, you’ll apply your professional knowledge and skills to support reporting and issue resolution. You’ll prepare summaries of trading issues, escalate concerns when needed, and ensure all actions are properly documented. You’ll follow both regulatory and internal standards. This role gives you exposure to the inner workings of Barclays’ Equity Capital Markets. Your contributions will have a direct and visible impact on business outcomes. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values precision, accountability, and excellent client service.

To be successful as an Execution Associate, Equity Capital Markets/Equity -Linked AVP, you should have experience with:

  • Lifecycle Management Software to streamline product development, monitor progress, and ensure compliance throughout each phase

  • Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Risk or Equity derivatives middle office

  • Comprehensive financial modeling to support strategic decision making, valuation assessment, and forecasting for high - impact projects

  • Developing partnerships to strengthen collaboration, align goals, and drive long-term value across key business relationships

This role is located in New York, NY.

Minimum Salary: $70,000

Maximum Salary: $140,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
