It drives enterprise‑wide consistency in policy interpretation and application, guiding business units in navigating complex regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role builds constructive regulatory relationships, supports informed decision‑making across senior leadership, and reinforces strong governance and control standards across the organization.
To be successful as a Finance Regulatory Policy Liquidity VP, you should have:
Expertise in financial and regulatory policy — including liquidity standards, capital frameworks, and statutory reporting requirements, such as Basel
Analytical and interpretative capability — able to compare complex alternatives, perform in‑depth analysis, and develop innovative policy solutions
Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills — experienced in advising senior leaders, collaborating across functions, and engaging with regulatory bodies
Other highly valued skills and experience include:
Background in liquidity risk, treasury, or financial risk management, ideally within a large bank or regulatory institution
Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, using sound judgment, regulatory expertise, and clear communication
Presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex regulatory and liquidity topics clearly to senior audiences
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $150,000
Maximum Salary: $210,000

Purpose of the role
To develop and analyse, the bank's financial and regulatory policies and interpretations, complying with applicable laws, internationally agreed standards, and regulations, to enable effective management of the bank’s financial risks.
