Barclays Services Corp. seeks Market Risk Model Developer AVP in New York, New York (multiple positions available):
Design and implement solid risk models and/or extensions to existing ones, and deliver in dynamic, agile, and often ambiguous contexts.
Maintain and enhance existing Market Risk Engine (MRE) framework and FRTB (Fundamental Review of Trading Book) calculators and integrate new FRTB IMA (Internal Models
Approach) functionality into it; work with partners in IT and Risk Engineering teams to integrate the systems.
Design analytics and modelling solutions to complex business problems using domain expertise.
Implementation of analytics and models in accurate, stable, well-tested software and work with technology to operationalize them.
Maintain current risk applications and models, including Barclays’ Market Risk Engine (MRE) framework.
Work with colleagues to support Risk, Front Office and IT users of Barclays’ analytics.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $173,000 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $190,300 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.
