Prime RAD Developer

In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders across regions to translate requirements into high-impact technology solutions for the Liquid Financing business. As part of a Rapid Application Development function, you will focus on speed-to-market, delivering iterative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, eliminate manual processes, and generate actionable insights through high-quality MIS, reconciliation reporting, and analytics. You will gain direct exposure to front-office and operations teams while building solutions ranging from proof of concepts to scalable strategic platforms.

To be successful as a Prime RAD Developer, you should have experience with:

• Building robust software solutions within the financial services industry

• Developing backend applications using Python and front-end interfaces using AngularJS or ReactJS, including designing RESTful APIs and microservices

• Writing complex and optimized SQL queries for data analysis and reporting

• Containerizing services using Docker and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Prior experience within Prime or Liquid Financing environments

• Exposure to data science concepts and analytical techniques

• Experience working within cloud-based infrastructure

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop

• Openness to learning new technologies and adapting in a fast-paced environment

This role is located in New York, NY.

Minimum Salary: $120,000

Maximum Salary: $175,000

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
