Explore locationJoin us as a US Rates Strategist AVP at Barclays where you’ll utilize analytical skills to research and interpret the movements in global interest rates markets on a micro & macro level, & track how trends may impact existing & potential clients of Barclays. As part of your role, you will support senior members of the Fixed Income Strategy Research unit in performing quantitative & qualitative evaluation, financial modeling, & other strategic support functions & tasks, thus improving Barclays’ research offering to clients.
To be successful as a US Rates Strategist AVP, you should have an:
Advanced degree in Finance
Knowledge of financial markets, macroeconomics, quantitative finance and derivatives pricing
Experience collecting, researching, & monitoring economic data and market trends
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Some other highly valued skills may include
Knowledge of options markets
Familiarity with Python or Matlab.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

This role is located in New York, NY.
This role is regulated by FINRA.
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
To be eligible, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Barclays will not sponsor applicants for work visas or offer any employment-based immigration sponsorship for this role, including assistance with or execution of any documentation in support of optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
