Barclays Capital Inc. seeks VP, Modeling Analyst in New York, NY (multiple positions available):
1. Serve as a part of the Agency mortgage prepayment modelling team in the capacity of a developer and modeler.
2. Conduct data analysis and present results to support modelling hypotheses.
3. Implement models as proto-types and discuss implications.
4. Implement models in our analytic framework.
5. Document models and coordinate with model owners and validators to get approval.
6. Own the initiative to create models and lead all discussions with appropriate stakeholders to present findings and establish a course of action.
7. Collaborate with IT partners and other functions to facilitate the adoption of models developed.
8. Make decisions relating to the best execution to our goals as dictated by our internal clients.
9. Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $235,000 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $260,000 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.
