Some other highly valued skills may include
*Contributing individually on contract remediation for Barclays third party Supplier Control Obligations (SCOs)
*Ensuring that the priority list of suppliers to be remediated is worked upon with urgency and diligence, and that the management team
is kept updated on a regular basis with progress, issues /concerns, and findings
*SCO contract work 0f overseeing negotiations for the contract schedules pertaining to third party vendor engagement risks. Providing support to stakeholders across the areas of Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Business in doing contract related work for the SCO schedules.
*Negotiate identified third party risks as part of the engagement with Suppliers, engage with the Subject Matter Experts in Barclays, and escalate risks to Accountable Executives, if any, with the goal of working towards contract execution
*Support with similar work pertaining to other contractual remediation as per the stakeholder requirements
*Demonstrate strong Project Management skills to drive key remediation projects and process improvement opportunities

Purpose of the role
To optimise and address Barclays 3rd party spend requirements, including the definition, development and implementation of approaches for relevant spend categories and requirements with close collaboration with the business and execution of strategic sourcing and buying channel development/optimisation.
