Explore locationStep into the role of Lending Ops Analyst where role is responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of lending cases providing ‘best in class’ post sanction security documentations and processing, maintenance support primarily to Credit Managers and Case Managers and Relationship Directors/Relationship Managers (RDs/MDs) with varying client base coupled with simple and complex group structures underpinning lending & Collateral requirements.
Additionally contribute towards operation readiness with Ops changes due to project like UKCLOP and Mersey in form of training, creating SOP, etc.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Responsible to ensure teams' adherence to SLA and quality along with very high degree of engagement with multiple stakeholders, such as coverage heads, legal, etc.
Working with functional heads to ensure operational readiness of UKCB Ops. Drive a communication strategy allowing UKCB lending Ops leadership to communicate strategic priorities stakeholder.
Work closely with the Leadership to understand the volumes and margins, analysing the trends and changes to market conditions. Helping to shape forecasts and business initiatives to drive efficiency
Develop a comprehensive understanding of end to end lending processes.
Taking ownership and providing oversight for a number of strategically important ad hoc initiatives/projects.
Support continuous improvement of the operational process and the development of Best Practice. Suggesting ideas to improve systems and processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such proposals
Ensuring all activities & duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise wide risk management framework & internal policies
Desirable skills sets:
Detailed understanding of the end to end lending process and its component functions e.g. Client, Relationship point, Credit, Post sanction fulfilment etc.
prior experience of Test Scripts, UAT, regression, Documentation, Training Guides, SOP updates
prior experience of project management and process changes.
preferably a qualified MBA with minimum 8-10 years of experience
Excellent verbal & written communication & relationship skills. Good influencing and negotiation skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to demonstrate and provide examples of strategic and analysis ability
Strong ability to adopt a flexible approach to work and coping with high variability of work
Proven ability to build, manage and sustain strong professional relationships with senior stakeholders
Excellent excel and Powerpoint skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce best in class presentations
Ability to drive the team’s agenda in large forums spread across various locations
