To be successful as a Vice President Mortgage Underwriting, you should have experience with:
- UK Mortgages at a leadership role for a minimum of 3 years. Strong application of general accounting, Principles, cash flow and balance sheet and analysis and interpretation, Stakeholder management (Fraud, Risk teams and Intermediaries).
- Strong knowledge across a wide range of Mortgage products and instruments. Strong awareness of how UK mortgages – functions and flow. Must be decisive and a clear communicator both written and oral. Ability to handle a significant volume of data and pull out the important aspects, summarize and draw conclusions.
- Strong awareness of automation tools and how each can be leveraged. Good Awareness around performance management.
Some other highly valued skills may include
- Six sigma or lean certified.
- Any certification around data analytics.

This role is based in our Noida office.

Purpose of the role
To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
- Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
