Join Barclays as VP Shared TC - Finance Business Partner (FBP) where you'll provide first class support as part of Consumption Management Partnering (CMP)team in overseeing and managing the controlled billing of the £9bn BX cost base across the FO segments. This role will also hold the responsibility of supporting the CMP Technology Business Management and the overall CMP Lead to deliver daily activities, month end runs and ensuring right controls and governance.

This role is based in our Noida office.

Purpose of the role

To provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions.  

Accountabilities

  • TBM is very critical activities in the overall CMP, Underpinned by the ongoing evolution of the Apptio Technology Business management tool
  • The role will ensure accurate operation of month end cycles with 100% control and governance
  • Working with Stakeholders in ensuring all the necessary Rules are updated with necessary evidencing and EIA
  • Supporting with EIA planning and delivery including environment prepping and process ordering
  • This role will support the delivery of technology finance solutions, so experience of Technology and/or Finance related Transformation is critical.  The process elements in this role are also fundamental to success, so experience in enterprise business change and process improvement will help drive the right outcomes by aligning cost transparency insights with the teams able to use this to strengthen the Bank.
  • Support the preparation of Group High Level and Medium Term Plans
  • Supporting with fact finding, analysis and engagement on simplification programmes
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders which will support the delivery of strategic projects
  • Maintaining a strong controls environment throughout the transformation of the function
