To be successful as a Commercial Manager, you should have experience with:
Previous experience in product / commercial / pricing / Profit & Loss management type roles
Demonstrable experience in being data led and able to interpret and analyse multiple sources / complexity of data which are then translated into actionable commercial insights
Strategic mindset, being able to translate the ‘here and now’ within the context of ‘the bigger picture’
Solid application and knowledge of adhering to and applying risk and control processes
Expert on Microsoft Office package
Some other highly valued skills include:
Understanding of products and services available across BUK and specifically in the Savings, Protection and Mortgage environment
Knowledge of retail market: market trends, interest rate movements, and competitive landscape
Awareness of macro-economics and the role this plays within the context of interest rates and consumer financial banking behaviour
Good stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to balance diverse stakeholders and influence across all levels
Flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate, in achievement of the team’s aims
Astute and able to understand the dynamics of large, complex organisations and a wide variety of stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role based in Northampton, Canary Wharf, Glasgow or Manchester
