Explore locationWe are seeking an experienced Data Visualisation Lead to elevate the quality, consistency, and impact of dashboards and visual reporting across Barclays UK. This is a newly created high-impact role within Customer Reporting, focused on setting and embedding best practice in visual storytelling, design, and data communication.
To be successful as a Data Visualisation Lead, you should have experience with:
Designing impactful dashboards and data visualisations.
Excellent design thinking skills, with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, and visual clarity.
Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive, insightful, and actionable visual designs.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Proficiency in working with large datasets and transforming data into meaningful narratives.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with complex data sources.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be located at our Knutsford or Northampton office.
Purpose of the role
To design and develop compelling visualizations that effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders across the bank, influencing decision-making and improving business outcomes.
