Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as a Scrum Master, where you'll lead the delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
To be successful as a Scrum Master, you should have experience with:
Setting up and maintaining JIRA backlogs and Scrum boards and coordinating with stakeholders. Generating and interpreting sprint reports and dashboard charts.
Facilitating agile ceremonies, including: Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, Backlog refinement, Sprint reviews, Retrospectives.
Managing delivery plans and balance Scrum processes to meet project needs.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Ample collaboration skills and awareness of team dynamics, continuous improvement, and team empowerment.
Experience in removing impediments and fostering a high-performing team culture.
Agile certification in SAFE or others relevant for scrum masters.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Northampton.
