Join Barclays as a Senior Card Scheme Control & Compliance, where you’ll become part of a pivotal team within Barclays. The Global Payment Networks (GPN) team works alongside key units across Barclays and is responsible for managing interactions with global payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, JCB, and China UnionPay. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to shape Barclays’ relationships with these payment networks and will take responsibility for a wide range of important initiatives, including oversight and management of the Control & Compliance team, which supports all card schemes across issuing and acquiring for Barclays. Your leadership will ensure the smooth resolution of issues while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.
To be successful as a Senior Card Scheme Control & Compliance, you should have:
- Proven people leader experience with the ability to guide and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, share knowledge of card schemes to support their strategic agenda, and articulate Barclays’ control frameworks.
- Knowledge of card schemes.
- SLA management experience.
