Join us as a Senior Fraud Strategy Manager at Barclays, where you will be responsible in managing the fraud strategy for the Amazon partnership card which has been built on the new NGCB platform.

Key skills required to be successful in this role include:
- SME knowledge of fraud strategy
- Experience of identifying and sizing risk and then delivering solutions to mitigate that risk
- Ability to manage, influence and communicate with all levels of stakeholders across different departments e.g. fraud strategy, fraud analytics, fraud ops, product, technology
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Analytical thinking (you will be required to develop impact assessments relating to project requirements and review / critique SAS / SQL code)
The following are advantageous but not essential:
- Knowledge of card fraud
- People management experience
- SAS / SQL coding experience
- Knowledge of Barclays fraud systems including chargebacks (FML, PEGA, UKCD)
- Experience of safely managing large business transformation projects
This role can be based in Northampton, London, Glasgow or Manchester.
Purpose of the role
To support the Risk Function in delivering it’s objective of safeguarding the bank's financial and operational stability by proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks across various business units and activities.
Accountabilities
- Development of strategic direction for risk, including the implementation of up-to-date methodologies and processes.
- Management of the risk department, including oversight of risk colleagues and their performance, implementation of risk priorities and objectives, oversight of department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Relationship management of risk stakeholders, including identifying relevant stakeholders, and maintenance of the quality of external third-party services.
- Adherence to the Risk policy, standards and frameworks, and maintaining a robust control environment.
