You’ll play a key role in delivering Rapid and Reg & Mand small‑change initiatives, helping to reduce our backlog and strengthen our design capability.
To be successful as a Solutions Designer, you should have experience with:
Strong Technical Expertise and proficiency in programming languages, frameworks & tools.
Strong knowledge of building Microservices, APIs based on DDD principles and Event Bus integrations.
Technical analysis in a payment processing environment, designing solutions that meets the requirements with strong focus on controls.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of Cards & Payments domain.
Skills in mentoring team members and fostering growth.
Bridging Business and Technology, understand the business needs and design IT to meet the business goals.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business problems, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and design and implement solutions that meet those needs and create solutions that balance technology risks against business delivery, driving consistency.
