In this role you will act as a People Delivery & Execution Partner, supporting the delivery of core HR activities across Barclays Europe, based in France. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders, including Director and Managing Director populations, to execute employee lifecycle processes, manage employee relations cases, and provide guidance on complex HR matters. You will play a key role in ensuring consistent and compliant HR delivery, supporting disciplinary processes, exits, and investigations, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and risk management within a regulated environment.

You support in industrial relations activity, working closely with union representatives and employee bodies to manage consultation processes in line with French labour law. You will operate within a complex, matrix organisation, collaborating with regional HR teams across Europe and contributing to wider transformation initiatives, including organisational changes and cross-border transitions. In addition, you will help drive continuous improvement in HR processes, ensuring effective execution while balancing competing priorities and delivering a high-quality experience for stakeholders across the business.

To be successful as a People Delivery & Execution Partner, you should have experience with:

  • Supporting Employee and Industrial Relations, including working with employee representatives and consultation processes.
  • Working within a large, matrix organisation and collaborating across teams.
  • Excellent French and English language, with the ability to communicate clearly.
  • An understanding of French employment law and regulatory practices.
  • The ability to manage multiple HR activities with care, attention to detail, and a focus on quality outcomes.

This role is located in Paris.

Minimum Salary: 56k Euro.

The minimum salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and typically represents the lowest level of pay for this role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To partner with business to deliver HR projects and programmes in alignment with the delivery service catalogue. 

Accountabilities

  • Collaboration across the function to deliver HR cyclical and non-cyclical activities such as: organisational design, talent reviews, D&I strategy, annual promotion processes, pay round implementation, succession planning, and other HR practices.
  • Project manage defined cyclical and non-cyclical activity ensuring use of project artefacts and collateral.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of project progress, including risks and mitigations and closing of project as appropriate.
  • Manage project implementation reviews and ensuring improvements are identified and implemented in line with customer feedback.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with both HR Business Partners and business leadership using business insights and knowledge to support delivery of key projects.
