Join us as an Early Careers Engagement Specialist at Barclays, where you'll be closely collaborating and fostering the vibrant Early Careers community. You would be acting as a central contact point, - cultivating a sense of trust, care, well-being and belonging for all involved. You would also partner with relevant 3rd party organisations, e.g. universities, code schools, gender diversity organisations, etc. to build Barclays’ brand, recruit new talent, and bring new content and opportunities to our existing employees.

To be successful as an Early Careers Engagement Specialist, you should have:

•            Fluent in English and Czech or Slovak

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

•            High organisational skills with the ability to adjust to a changing workload effectively, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Some other highly valued skills may include:

•            Experience working in global organizations

•            Strong stakeholder management skills

•            Previous recruiter experience is an advantage

This role will be based in our Prague office.

Purpose of the role

To oversee the smooth operation of the bank's business activities by handling a wide range of administrative tasks.  

Accountabilities

  • Management and facilitating of the cost close out of projects, ensuring any outstanding issues/cost commitments are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Supporting identified payroll and related input processes and procedures i.e., receive and verify wage input sheets from operations, escalate queries and print and distribute pay slips.
  • Provision of administrative support with regards to the implementation of the talent development strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintenance of accurate and organised records, including financial documents, reports, and other administrative files.
  • Management of office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring availability and ordering as needed.
