To be successful as a Technical Project Manager, you should have:

  • Considerable product mindset with experience in backlog prioritisation, roadmap shaping, and translating business needs into actionable user stories focused on measurable value
  • Solid understanding of software delivery within a Full Stack / Java ecosystem, including APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud architectures, with the ability to effectively challenge and collaborate with engineering teams
  • Proven Scrum Master expertise leading Agile ceremonies, driving delivery outcomes, and removing impediments in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery with predictable sprint execution in fast-paced enterprise environments
  • Good stakeholder management skills with experience working across global, cross-functional teams

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Domain knowledge in financial services, particularly liquidity, payments, or capital markets, with awareness of regulatory and operational constraints
  • Experience combining Scrum Master, Product, and Business Analysis responsibilities, including requirement elicitation, process mapping, and refining ambiguous needs into clear user stories
  • Ability to bridge business and technology stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Experience scaling Agile across distributed teams, including exposure to frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
  • Extensive facilitation and communication skills across diverse business and engineering audiences

This role will be based in our Prague office.

Entry Salary: Kč 1,250,000.00

Upper Salary: Kč 1,600,000.00

The entry and upper salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and represents the typical range of pay for the role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. The entry and upper salary information does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This position is eligible for an incentive award.

Purpose of the role

Focused on delivering individual projects, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget with a more immediate focus.  

Accountabilities

  • Scope Management: Manages a single project with specific, defined objectives, deadlines, and deliverables. Their focus is on completing the project on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Strategic Focus: Operates more tactically, focusing on day-to-day management of resources, schedules, and deliverables for their individual project.

  • Time Horizon: Works with a shorter, more defined timeframe as projects have a set beginning and end.

  • Stakeholder Management: Primarily manages stakeholders related to their specific project, ensuring communication and expectations are clear for the project’s deliverables.

  • Risk and Issue Management:  Focuses on risks and issues specific to their project and works to mitigate them within the project’s scope.

  • Resource Management: Manages resources for their individual project, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills, tools, and time to complete the work.

  • Financial Management: Focuses on managing the budget of their specific project, ensuring it is completed within the financial constraints.

  • Metrics: Measures success based on the timely completion of project deliverables within scope, time, and budget.

  • Change Management: Manages changes that directly impact their specific project, including scope changes, timelines, or resource allocation adjustments.

  • To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
