To be a successful Data Analyst, you should have experience with:
Hands-on experience in Data Analysis within Financial Services. Proficiency in data manipulation (cleansing, enrichment, normalization) with data coming from various sources like flat file, database, excel, APIs.
Good understanding of RDBMS & proficient in writing Advanced SQL commands and scripts for data extraction, update and migration.
Ability to perform data lineage exercises and trace Critical Data Elements (CDE) across systems for compliance and governance.
Ability to work with large datasets and should have implemented controls to ensure data quality, data completeness and data integrity.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, strong communication and presentation abilities for stakeholder engagement. Prior experience in data migration projects.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Exposure to platforms with React/Java as tech stack and using Liquibase for database change management. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes. Experience with automation scripting (Python, R, or similar).
Understanding of business processes in banking and financial services.

The location of the role is Pune, IN.
Purpose of the role
To enable data-driven strategic and operational decision making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports.
