To be successful as a DCF Lead, you should have experience with:
Strong polyglot engineering experience across application and systems programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, Java, .NET, and Python.
Expertise in designing, building, and operating High Performance Computing (HPC) and distributed computing platforms.
Experience with HPC technologies such as IBM Symphony, DataSynapse, Root, MPI, or equivalent grid computing frameworks.
Strong understanding of Linux, operating systems, networking, and infrastructure engineering.
Experience building scalable compute platforms on containerized and cloud-based environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience collaborating with engineering leadership and application teams to ensure platform compliance with security, controls, monitoring, and capacity management standards.
Some other highly valued skills include:
Experience within Investment Banking, Market Risk, or Wholesale Risk technology.
Knowledge of numerical computing, optimization techniques, and statistical modelling.
Experience with GPU-based computing and acceleration frameworks.
Understanding oflarge-scale risk calculation platforms and regulatory initiatives such as Basel IV.
Experience designing shared platform services and engineering infrastructure consumed by multiple application teams.
