We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Java Lead Engineer – Vice President who will play a pivotal role in engineering world‑class digital experiences for our customers. In this role, you will shape strategic technology direction, provide thought leadership, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver resilient, scalable, cloud‑native solutions.
To be a successful Engineering Lead, you should have experience with:
Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 11/17/23), Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices development. Expert knowledge of AWS cloud services and hands‑on experience in building cloud‑native applications.
Deep understanding of distributed system architecture, event‑driven patterns, API design, and integration frameworks. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Maven/Gradle), and automated test frameworks. Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, along with ORM technologies (Hibernate, JPA).
Strong command of observability tooling & practices, including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, logging standards, tracing, and SRE‑style metrics (SLIs/SLOs).
Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:
Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular. Experience with Docker, container platforms, and cloud aPaaS solutions like OpenShift.
Strong API engineering experience across REST, GraphQL, or event‑streaming platforms. Experience in banking or financial services, with understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership ability — influencing without authority. Analytical and problem‑solving skills to provide thought leadership on complex technical challenges.

This role is based in Pune.
